Kyu Che

Kyu Che is a designer working in the fields of environmental design and art. Based in San Francisco California, projects include high end residential projects, commercial interiors, experimental art projects and exhibition design. He received his education in Biology and Architecture at the University of California at Berkeley.

With over 20 years professional experience in residential design, interiors, and the art field, the studio provides tailored design services combining technical expertise with a highly refined aesthetic sensibility. Special attention is given to specific needs of each client and project, providing high quality, appropriate, and inspiring design solutions.

His works have been presented at New Langton Arts, Yale Architecture Gallery and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Publications include Zyzzyva, Surface, Mark (Frame) and Damn.

Kyu is an enthusiastic supporter of non profit organizations involved in art, environmental sustainability and community service. His volunteer work includes serving as the architectural director in Sardenia for the Earthwatch Institute as well as collaborations with Creative Growth Gallery. He has served on the board of directors for New Langton Arts.

As a young boy, Kyu Che landed in Santa Monica, California having crossed the Pacific Ocean from his ancestral home in Korea. He grew up skateboarding and surfing along the California coast, combining his cross cultural heritage with an open minded and sunny west coast lifestyle.
